According to the City of Houston website, Garden Oaks/Oak Forest is Super Neighborhood 12 – Central Southwest. However, this part of Houston is better known as “GOOF” from its initials and is located between Pinemont, Shepherd, the North Loop West and the Northwest Freeway (US 290). GOOF is also home to Lutheran North Academy where Houston Town Futsal currently calls home and where Houston Town Futsal League matches take place.
